Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CommitFlow ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CommitFlow provides an AI-powered changelog generation platform that reads commit metadata from connected GitHub repositories and generates formatted release notes.

3. GitHub Data Access

CommitFlow uses read-only GitHub OAuth scopes. We never clone, store, or modify your source code. We access only commit metadata (messages, authors, timestamps) necessary to generate changelogs. You can revoke access at any time from your GitHub settings.

4. User Content

Changelog content generated through the Service belongs to you. CommitFlow does not claim ownership over your content. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service.

5. Subscription and Billing

Free tier users may use the Service subject to the limitations described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; no refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CommitFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
